INFORMATION ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Is this a weekend event?
The Uxbridge Scottish Festival is a one day event. The day is packed with many events such as the Highland Dance Competition, a Scottish Dog Breed Exhibition, special performances by musicians, and of course lots of pipe bands.


What time does the event begin?
The Festival gets under way at 9:oo am, rain or shine. There will be events throughout the day up until closing at 6:00pm.


Is there a schedule of events?
If you go to our Events page, you will see a listing of events and their respective times. We have packed a lot of great entertainment into one day.


Is there on-site parking?
Yes, and plenty of it. Please access the parking lot via Elgin Park Drive. You will be greeted by one of our parking volunteers who will direct you to a spot.


Is there a cost to enter the park?
There is no admission. This event is FREE however we would ask that donations be made to help us offset costs. Every little bit helps! You will find donation bins throughout the park.


Will there be food vendors?
Yes! A wonderful selection of food is available for purchase at the Festival.


Can I bring my dog to the festival?
Absolutely. Dogs are most welcome. Please ensure they are on a leash and that you clean up after your dog.


Are washrooms available?
Yes. In addition to the park’s washroom facilities, there will be portable units set up throughout the park.
